Former Alabama running back Bo Scarborough had some strong words about the current state of Alabama football and its roster.
Scarborough talked to the team the other day and, apparently, his words left head coach Nick Saban troubled about the current state of things.
Saban: "Bo Scarbrough was here today and he put his finger on the table and said, 'When we played here, we were making sure that the other team, when the game was over, would say we never wanna play them again.' … That's the kind of culture that we want to recreate."

“Bo Scarbrough was here today and he put his finger on the table and said, ‘When we played here, we were making sure that the other team, when the game was over, would say we never wanna play them again,'” said Saban. “That’s the kind of culture that we want to recreate.”
Saban says Scarbrough’s words break his heart. Alabama has always been known for its toughness and for putting fear into opponents, but this year not so much and even Saban recognizes that.
“When former players come back to me, it hurts my heart,” said Saban. “That anybody that’s ever played here would think that anybody on this team is not playing to that culture and to that standard. That really breaks my heart because I’m responsible for that.”
Saban always speaks on what he calls the process and has always encouraged his players to stick to the process to find success but this year that standard has somewhat fallen off and that has a lot of former players concerned.
