The Ohio State Buckeyes have not had the best luck against their archrivals to the north the past three seasons as the Michigan Wolverines have bested the Buckeyes in three consecutive games, including their most recent win over Ohio State in Ann Arbor back in November to close out the regular season.
But based on some recent betting odds, it sounds like Ohio State will be favored to snap that streak next season.
According to the latest odds from the FanDuel Sportsbook, Ohio State is favored to notch its first victory over Michigan since 2019 this season as the Buckeyes open as an early 6-point favorite over Michigan as the teams head into the offseason.

Obviously, it’s pretty shocking to see Ohio State favored over Michigan by nearly a touchdown after the way the past three games have played out, but it makes sense when you look at how the past couple of months have gone for Ohio State.
Since the conclusion of the college football season, Ohio State has received plenty of news regarding the outlook for their 2024 season as the vast majority of the team’s top players elected to return for another season instead of declaring for the NFL Draft.
In addition to the returning stars, Ohio State has added a couple of important additions from the transfer portal including former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard and Ole Miss star running back Quinshon Judkins, who was considered the top running back in the transfer portal.
We’ll have to see if that’s enough to push Ohio State to a victory over Michigan next season as the odds suggest.
