Before he was the subject of one of the most prominent murder cases in recent United States history, O.J. Simpson was a superstar running back for the USC Trojans. As an alum, he’s obviously still a supporter of his alma mater, but it sounds like he was very concerned about what he saw from the Trojans during their loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday night.

Following the team’s loss this weekend, O.J. Simpson took to social media to express his concern about the USC Trojans going forward, especially the team’s defense.

“I didn’t think SC could go undefeated this year because of their defense. I’m just worried about the teams they got to play in the future because of that defense,” Simpson said in a video he posted on X, the social media that was formerly known as Twitter.

Simpson has real reason to be concerned given the team’s remaining on USC’s schedule. The Trojans still have to face the Oregon Ducks and the Washington Huskies, both of which rank among the best offenses in all of college football.

Considering the Trojans just gave up 48 points to a Notre Dame team that doesn’t necessarily boast a terribly explosive or high-powered offense, they could be in trouble in future games.
