Lane Kiffin Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has been very vocal against the implementation of NIL in college sports, and outwardly bashes programs that he believes are using this in recruiting. He did so again on Saturday, comparing once SEC school to “Saudi money”.

The influence of Saudi money has impacted numerous professional sports including soccer and golf.

Kiffin took to social media to compare this situation to NIL money in college football, and in particular is seemingly taking a shot at Texas A&M and head coach Lane Kiffin.

“Pep Guardiola- Saudi money has changed transfer market- ESPN. Sounds like what ….. … did!”

He doesn’t exactly call out Texas A&M by name, but it seems pretty clear that this is who he is talking about, especially since Kiffin has had no problem calling out the program in recent months.

This is one of several cryptic shots at Texas A&M recently, previously posting a screenshot of the popular baseball movie “Moneyball” before again spelling out Texas A&M in a following tweet.

Fans took notice of Kiffin’s latest tweet and appear to be certain that he is indeed talking about Texas A&M.

There is clearly some bad blood between both teams, and they will get a chance to settle their difference on the football field this coming college football season. The team will face off in Week 10 of the CFB regular season on November 4th in a matchup that will surely be highly anticipated.
