Is Texas back? Who knows. But the No. 11 Longhorns made a big statement on Saturday, defeating the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide 34-24 in Tuscaloosa.
Afterward, a former Alabama running back who transferred to Texas had a strong message for Bama recruits at the game.
After Texas sealed the victory and players stormed the field to celebrate, Keilan Robinson ran towards the section of the crowd where Alabama’s visiting recruits were sitting and shared a message for them.
“All y’all come to Texas,” he said with a huge grin on his face. “All y’all come to Texas!”

Texas isn’t in the SEC yet but it appears that the rivalry between the two blue-blood programs is already red hot. Texas and Oklahoma will officially join the SEC next season and you better believe Nick Saban and the Tide will want some payback.
Robinson initially enrolled at Alabama, redshirting in 2020 after playing in eight games as a freshman in 2019. He garnered 34 carries for 254 yards and two touchdowns that year. After that he transferred to Austin and was named honorable mention Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year, rushing for 322 yards and three touchdowns. As a junior last season, he was named honorable mention All-Big 12 as a return specialist and honorable mention All-Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year.
We’ll have to keep an eye on the recruiting rankings to see if Robinson convinced anyone to flip, though the victory might have had something to do with it too.
