As former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Will Anderson prepares for the NFL Draft, where he’s expected to be a top-10 pick, he’s still got a lot to reflect on about his time with Alabama. And that includes his memories of head coach Nick Saban.

During an appearance on First Take this week, Will Anderson was asked about his memories of Nick Saban, and he was able to share the best lesson he learned under the Alabama head coach during his three seasons with the team.

“Probably just the structure and embracing the challenge,” Anderson said during Tuesday’s episode of First Take on ESPN. “I know one thing that stuck with me just talking to him, being around him is…every season is different. Every season is not going to be like the same exact season.

“You’re going to be different, games are going to be different, you know, and just embrace it and have fun, because at the end of the day, that’s what football is all about.”

Anderson was undeniably successful during his time with Saban and Alabama as he emerged as one of the top linebackers in the entire country. It’s safe to say he got the most out of his time with Saban and the Crimson Tide.
