So far this season, Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jordan Travis has already beaten the LSU Tigers and the Clemson Tigers. As a result, he has dubbed himself the Tiger King – in reference to the popular Netflix documentary from 2020. But Joe Exotic – the real Tiger King – is not necessarily happy about it.
In a post on social media this week, Joe Exotic made it clear that he is not a fan of Jordan Traivs or the Flordia State Seminoles, instead backing Graham Mertz and the Florida Gators.
“Hey (Jordan Travis) if I had to pass the Tiger King crown to anyone it would be to (Graham Mertz) of the (Florida Gators)! How can you claim to be king of anything when you’re not even king in your own state? ** (Florida State Seminoles), Go (Florida Gators),” Joe Exotic said in a recent post on X, the social media website formely known as Twitter.

It’s a pretty clear message from Joe Exotic that should help fuel the rivalry between the two in-state schools, but it’s unlikely that Travis is going to back down from his new nickname as a result of the Tweet.
