There were a few good and many, many bad “covfefe” jokes in the past couple days after Donald Trump tweeted the typo (that his press secretary later tried to pass off as intentional).
One of the good ones came from @OfficialRCCola—a Twitter account dedicated to that Coke knockoff from two decades ago.
Oh my god RC Cola is a savage pic.twitter.com/bmcnRNKj4R

That would be the best brand tweet of all time (non-country edition), except @OfficialRCCola is a fake account. You might not know that initially, because in sticking with its 1980s branding, actual RC Cola doesn’t have a Twitter account.
And it turns out that actual RC Cola—owned by Dr. Pepper Snapple—was not amused by these very good tweets.
The Twitter account @OfficialRCCola is not associated with DPS or the RC Cola brand. We have no involvement in any content that may appear.

At this time we are working to actively pursue the deactivation of the fake account known as @OfficialRCCola with help from @Twitter.

The lobbying worked, as @OfficialRCCola is now suspended from Twitter.
Brands are the worst.
