“Have you ever wanted to lick your cat?” It’s the question few have ever asked, but also the question that is the opening line to a new Kickstarter campaign aimed at allowing humans the ability to lick their cats.

No seriously, someone has created a product just for that purpose alone.

“Licki Brush” is the name of the product, and the goal is to make licking your cat a hairball-free experience. It also apparently is popular enough that over 400 people have pledged to the project and it has raised over $10,000 of its $36,500 goal as of this writing.

Not only is it all about not getting a furball to the face, the goal of this product is to also make the pets owner more of a part in the social bonding that is cats licking each other clean. However, the instructions for the use of this product read more like an erotic novel than a real-life product:

Gently grasp Licki’s bite portion with your teeth, slowly approach your cat when she is sleeping or in an otherwise pleasant mood, and ease into the soothing and mutually beneficial licking behavior of cats. Don’t be surprised if your cat licks you back.

The minimum $15 pledge is already sold out on the Kickstarter page, but you can get in at the bargain price of $19 and receive a Licki Brush along with an invite to be on LICKI wall of fame web page and the chance to be part of the Change – in the cat-grooming landscape.

But, for the low, low price of $124 one can get in on the “crazy cat-person pack,” which entitles that person to TEN, yes 1-0, Licki Brush’s and first in line shipping once the product has been mass produced.

We’ll let you be the judge, but from the looks of the cats like this one…

…let’s just say the product is more about the human than the cat, because last time I checked that is one checked-out kitty.
