Brooks Koepka was once considered to be one at the top of his sport, spending 47 weeks as the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world Since leaving the PGA Tour, the LIV golfer has seen his world ranking absolutely plummet. According to the Palm Beach Post, Kopeka dropped out of the top 100 rankings this week for the first time since 2013. His 102nd ranking is his lowest world ranking in a decade.

Since the release of “Full Swing” — a Netflix documentary on the PGA tour — Koepka has been the subject of criticism. His comments on the docuseries pointed toward a different reason why he decided to join the professional golf tour financed by the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia.

“I’ve had all these question marks for, like, the last year and a half,” he said in the docuseries via Golfweek. “‘Is he ever going to be the same golfer?’ Am I ever going to be the same? And I still don’t know where I’m at.”

Later adding, “I’ll be honest with you. I can’t compete with these guys week in and week out.”

Recently, Koepka was asked how he would respond to those who believe he joined LIV Golf because he could no longer compete on the PGA Tour.

“I don’t care,” Koepka said via the Palm Beach Post. “They can think whatever they want to think.”

We’ll have to see if Koepka will be able to regain his form after suffering a massive loss in the rankings.
