Iowa Hawkeyes star women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark is obviously supremely talented in nearly every aspect of the game of basketball. However, she showed off another element of her athleticism, her golf game.

Clark took part in a Pro-Am for the PGA Tour on Wednesday ahead of the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Illinois. She played alongside PGA Tour veteran Zach Johnson, and showed off some impressive shots that any average golfer would be proud of.

Clark stepped to the first tee at the course, and received a massive ovation, which is no shock considering Illinois is certainly Big Ten country.

She made it look easy on her first drive of the day, parking the shot directly in the middle of the fairway.

You can clearly tell that this is not her first time swinging a golf club, and many fans were extremely impressed with the pure shot.

It’s simply unfair to see someone who is already such a great player in one sport seemingly perform great in another sport. However, golf is simply an unforgiving game, and Clark did feel the unfortunate wraith of the cruel sport.

She stepped to a Par 3 later on in the round, and her shot off the tee went way right into a crowd of spectators.

For those who may think that Clark’s performance on the course was a fluke, she detailed after the round that she is actually a huge fan of the sport and has been playing golf since she was a child.

“It’s just unique and special; I haven’t had many opportunities to play a different sport, and at a PGA Tour event,” Clark said via ESPN’s M.A Voelpe. “I’m a big fan of golf. I love to play and be around it. Every Sunday I usually have the TV on and I’m watching.”
