Tiger Woods just took everyone’s breath away in Round 2 of the Masters.

Woods nearly dunked a tee shot off the 6th hole in his second round of play in the major tournament. Tiger hit the ball exceedingly well and was almost rewarded for his efforts.

The legendary golfer would par on this hole though as he currently is a bit stuck on the front nine. He is 3-over par at the moment through seven holes.

The epic shot went viral quickly on Twitter. ESPN’s post gained over 373,000 views within the last hour.

“It’s always nice to see #TigerWoods at #TheMasters,” tweeted one golf fan.

“I’m bout to get to a TV so I can watch,” another fan tweeted.

“That place would have gone absolutely bananas,” another fan tweeted. Probably correct!

“He’s the person who knows this course the best. Tiger Woods master class incoming,” a fan predicted.

 

CBS Sports also posted on the incredible shot, saying Woods “almost flies it in the hole on No. 6.”

 

Play at the Masters is currently suspended due to inclement weather. 3-over is the cut line t the moment at Augusta National. With Tiger right on the line, the rest of his round will be fascinating to watch.

Star golfer Brooks Koepka pulled in a strong effort to go up to first place in the tournament at this moment. Koepka has shot 12-under for the tournament and 5-under for the day.
