hole-in-one LPGA Tour

Every golfer whether they are a professional or just play for fun dreams of being able to make a hole-in-one. That became a reality for LPGA golfer In Kyung Kim in the second round of the JM Eagle LA Championship on Friday.

Kim likely approached the 12th hole Wilshire Country Club, a Par 3 hole, hoping to be lucky to get a birdie on the hole. She exceeded her wildest expectations with a truly unreal shot.

She hit the front edge of the green with her shot, which took a big bounce that it desperately needed. After that, it miraculously rolled right into the hole for an ace.

It obviously took some luck like any hole-in-one typically does. However, many around the golf world took notice of this unreal shot and praised Kim on social media.

This shot actually ended up being the difference in Kim making the cut. If she had gotten par on the hole instead, she would have missed out on playing the weekend.

Unfortunately for Kim, this hole-in-one didn’t exactly cause much momentum into her Round 3 performance on Saturday. She has struggled to gain much traction, finishing Round 3 at even par and sitting in just a tie for 31st place.

The hole-in-one on Friday may not help her win this tournament, but it is certainly a moment that she will never forget.
