LIV Golf took to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J this past weekend. To nobody’s surprise, former U.S. President Donald Trump was in attendance at the event, and shared a moment with UFC top prospect Bo Nickal that has gone viral on social media.

Nickal has taken the MMA world by storm since debuting in the UFC back in March, earning two first-round victories in the UFC this year. The former Penn State wrestling standout is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the UFC.

That seemingly comes with a ton of popularity and cache, which led to his interaction with Trump at this weekend’s LIV Golf event. The two were seen chatting it up on the golf course and even posed for a picture together.

Trump is obviously a very polarizing personality, so there were plenty of varying reactions to Nickal’s interaction with him.

Trump’s relationship with UFC president Dana White has been well documented, as Trump has increasingly been in attendance for big UFC events in recent months. And some fans may not know that Trump and Nickal actually have a relationship that dates back to before Nickal ever competed in MMA. s a moment with UFC star

Nickal is just one of many UFC fighters that have gotten the full endorsement of Trump. Perhaps the most notable is UFC welterweight Colby Covington, who actually went to the White House alongside Dana White to meet him back in 2018.
