PGA Championship putt

The golf world was dazzled by a fantastic putt at the PGA Championship on Saturday. On Moving Day and amid rain hitting the links at Oak Hill Country Club, Lee Hodges sunk an incredible putt. But like the rest of the world, he had to wait anxiously.

Hodges drilled a putt on the 17th hole but had to wait for it to drop. But it eventually did, as patience was worth having on Saturday afternoon.

Fellow golfer Jordan Spieth said that he thought that it was going to go. Thirty-five seconds later, it dropped into the cup!

The golf world reacted to the fantastic putt at the PGA Championship.

The event’s Twitter account spotlighted the incredible drop. “Patienceeeeee……,” they tweeted.

“Lee Hodges was patient with this putt,” SportsCenter added, tacking on the point.

Pickswise said, “This putt from Lee Hodges has shades of 2005 Tiger at the Masters.” Even commentary noted this!

Underdog Golf pointed out that, unfortunately, Hodges was penalized for this! It violated the 10-second rule since it took 35 seconds to fall in. Nevertheless, it was an excellent shot! He just had a stroke penalty added on after.

With Moving Day in action, the PGA Championship is heating up! And there was plenty of drama involved here. Hats off to Lee Hodges for riling everyone up.
