The rivalry between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf has died down in recent months. But things may heat up once again thanks to a significant offer reportedly given to PGA Tour star Jon Rahm by LIV.

Rahm has been one of the biggest stars in the sport for quite some time. Perhaps his most famous accomplishment came back in April, capturing his first green jacket at the 2023 Masters Tournament.

He has been loyal to the PGA Tour despite many other stars of the sport defecting to LIV. But it seems like Rahm has now received a historic offer from LIV that could just be too good to refuse.

According to The Telegraph, Rahm has received an offer “upwards of $500 million” from LIV Golf, an offer that he is expected to accept in the coming weeks.

It’s certainly interesting to see Rahm presumably wanting to take the leap to LIV Golf. Especially because Rahm has been critical in the past of LIV’s format, which consists of no-cut events.

Rahm even once claimed that his “heart lied with the PGA Tour” while also previously blasting reporters who previously reported that he was interested in LIV Golf.

Considering all of this, the offer from LIV must be pretty significant to make Rahm have such a drastic change of heart.

Rahm would be the latest former PGA Tour star to leave for LIV, a list that appears to be growing rapidly. Currently, that list consists of stars like Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, and many more.
