Golf analyst Brandel Chamblee and Phil Mickelson aren’t exactly friends; in fact, they hate each other. The pair have been going back and forth with each other for a while now through social media, so it shouldn’t be a shock that Chamblee said about Lefty recently in an interview.

Chamblee thinks Mickelson should be booted out of the Golf Hall of Fame. Chamblee feels like Mickelson has been more of a hindrance to golf in recent years, especially since he joined LIV Golf.

“I don’t think he has any business being in the Hall of Fame. He’s caused irreparable damage to the game. And if the Tour’s philanthropic aspect dies, the autopsy should read LIV. It should read Phil,” the 61-year-old Chamblee said.

Mickelson was one of the first major golfers who left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf, and other big names followed suit. Chamblee blames Mickelson for the potential collapse of the PGA.

“I realize it was a tough dilemma that the Tour was in, but they wouldn’t have been in the dilemma if it wasn’t for Phil,” Chamblee suggested to Golf.com. “Phil was the only one that could really make a difference. He was the only one. And he was not motivated by altruistic thoughts. He was moved and motivated by greed, and that tilted the game in that direction. And so when I think about the dilemma that the Tour was in, it wouldn’t have happened if it hadn’t been for Phil.”

Mickelson, along with LIV Golf Commissioner Greg Norman, are the faces of the league and continue to take a lot of heat for their dealings.
