While most of the contenders at today’s U.S. Open final round struggle down the stretch, one fan took it upon himself to try and show them how it’s done.
Interrupting play (it appeared that among others, Bryson DeChambeau had to pause for a while until the situation was in hand), this man brought his own clubs onto the fairway and hit a few shots of his own. His swing, by the way: buttery.

He’s absolutely fleecing the out-of-towners on the south course in that get up.

We might have a clue of his identity, too:
Pretty sure the streaker is Connor Murphy who was spotted at a Monday Q a few months back trying to qualify while pulling his clubs in a wagon and high on psychedelics. Picture from his Instagram right before the incident pic.twitter.com/afq0lMvq7U

Honestly, getting to hit a few shots at the U.S. Open is every player’s dream. Some of us just achieve it in different ways.
