Tiger Woods

This week, Tiger Woods is making his return to the golf course after some time away due to an injury as he competes in the Genesis Invitational at The Riviera Country Club in Ormond Beach. Despite some slight concerns about his health, the golf legend appears to be swinging with no obvious pain or discomfort and he posted a stellar first-round score before going absolutely viral for a near hole-in-one. But then he went viral for a much more embarrassing reason.

During a putt attempt on hole No. 6 on Friday afternoon, Tiger Woods missed the hole horrifically on a long putt attempt. But not only did he miss the cup, but Tiger also sent the putt into the bunker, putting himself in quite an unfortunate situation.

It was certainly quite an unfortunate turn of events for Tiger, who was having quite a solid round up until that point, and the golf world had plenty to say about the horrible putt on Twitter as his failure went absolutely viral.

The good news is that the mistake didn’t cost Tiger all that much. Following the horrible putt, Tiger set himself up with a nice shot out of the bunker and hit a five-foot putt for bogey. It wasn’t pretty, but all things considered, it worked out for Tiger.
