The Colorado RockiesC.J. Cron has hit two home runs in Friday night’s game against the San Diego Padres, and one of the blasts went a long, long way.

First, Cron went deep with a two-run shot to right-center field in the bottom of the first against talented Padres southpaw MacKenzie Gore.

And then Cron took things to another with a mammoth two-run dinger in the bottom of the fifth, also off Gore. This home run went 486 feet, clearing a hot dog stand on the left-field concourse at Coors Field.

Everybody mashes at Coors Field, but that’s still a ridiculous bomb from Cron. The veteran slugger now has 16 homers and an .890 OPS on the season.
