For the second year in a row, the Canadian National Anthem has generated buzz at the MLB All-Star Game. And for the second year in a row, it’s not exactly positive buzz.
After a singer amended the words to the anthem to say “All Lives Matter” last year, Canadian singer Jocelyn Alice appeared to laugh in the middle of the anthem.

The rest of the anthem was a bit of a mess, too.

Canadian All-Star Joey Votto seemed confused.

It’s not clear why Alice laughed, or why her words sounded slurred at times. But whatever the reason, Canadians weren’t having it.
That was an insulting performance of the Canadian National Anthem lol #MLBAllStarGame2017

Very excited to see what happens with the Canadian anthem next year, in what is becoming an odd tradition.
