David Ross is getting the brunt of frustrated Chicago Cubs fans. Monday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers has elicited strong reactions from an irritated fanbase.
The Cubs collapsed in backbreaking fashion on Monday against the rival Brewers. The Brew Crew were down 6-0 early after the Cub offense erupted. But the Brewers clawed their way back, and things soured big. Jahmai Jones slugged a home run in his first at-bat at the MLB level in two years.

Milwaukee grabbed the lead late and did not concede it. Thus, the fourth-place Cubs lost an extremely winnable game to their National League Central rivals from up north.
Cub fans weren’t happy at all—frustrations with Ross date back to his first year on the job. The former World Series champion hasn’t had a great deck to work with, but that doesn’t negate some of the decisions made.
Cubs fans out in droves and voiced their dissatisfaction with David Ross.

David Ross is quite possibly the worst manager of a bullpen in baseball. Numerous games have been lost by his god awful descisok making. Kay over Lieter was an absolute awful decision. He deserves to be launched immediately. https://t.co/V9hSyQB9Z7

No reason to panic after losing a 6-run lead because David Ross put our designated hitter at 3rd base so now we lost the DH spot. All good guys! Our manager knows what he's doing!

Counsell pantsed Ross there.

Season basically on the line this series for the Cubs and they blew a 6-0 lead in Game 1.
Pretty much just went lifeless after the lead too.
Not a great look for anyone involved.

Chicago is in a woeful position this season. They are 38-45 and seven games back of the first-place Brewers. The Cubs are also 7.5 games back of an NL Wild Card spot. It hasn’t gotten any easier for the Cubs, and days like Monday make it exponentially more challenging.
It wouldn’t be the best day for David Ross to go on Twitter, let’s just leave it at that.
