The Chicago Cubs might be down 3-2 in the World Series, but if they’re feeling the pressure you wouldn’t have known it by looking at their Halloween costumes.
Shortstop Addison Russell and his wife Melisa sported Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costumes. Russell chose to represent the most disciplined turtle of the group, Leonardo.

John Lackey’s family decided to kick it old school, as the right-hander was a big bad wolf with his family wearing Little Bo Peep and sheep costumes. Major props to Lackey’s son for going as Kris Bryant. Lackey’s teeth make for the perfect costume accessory.

He also shared this great post about running into a kid with an Anthony Rizzo costume:
Saw a kid in a Cubs uniform. Told him his costume was sick… asked him who is favorite player is. He said @ARizzo44….cold blooded kid lol

Even Cubs prez Theo Epstein joined in on the fun, handing out candy to fans. He has a costume ready if he needs one.

It’s great to see the Cubs have some fun, despite sitting in an extremely nerve-wracking position. If they don’t win the World Series, the organization can take solace knowing they won Halloween.
