Cleveland Guardians top prospect Bo Naylor has struggled early on in his MLB career, coming into Wednesday’s game against the Kansas City Royals with a .125 batting average. However, he has the best game of his young career in Wednesday’s matchup, including his first MLB home run.

The struggles that Naylor has experienced are somewhat to be expected of most prospects transiting to the big leagues. He is currently ranked the No. 40 overall prospect on MLB.com’s top 100 prospect ranking. He also ranks third in the Guardians organization.

Naylor started off the game with two singles in his first two at-bats. This led to the biggest moment of his career in his third at-bat, crushing a home run to left-center field off Royals reliever James McArthur.

It’s a special moment for any player to hit their first career home run in the MLB. Naylor’s was even more special due to his brother, Josh Naylor, playing on his team as well. The two shared an awesome embrace once Bo Naylor got into the dugout.

Many around the MLB world took notice of this cool interaction between the two brothers and absolutely loved it.

Josh Naylor had quite the game himself, recording two doubles and driving in a run. The Guardians would cruise to a 14-1 win, in large part thanks to the big game from the two brothers.
