The San Francisco Giants are headed home after a grueling five-game road trip, and arguably no one is happier than pitcher Logan Webb.
The Giants defeated the Houston Astros 4-2 Wednesday to take two out of three in Houston. Over the weekend, however, the Giants dropped a pair of games to the San Diego Padres in Mexico City.
While players from both clubs generally enjoyed the historic first MLB games in Mexico’s capital city, there were some issues. A number of Giants players came down with a stomach virus during the trip.
What were the symptoms of the virus? Webb, who got the win against the Astros, explained the unpleasant details to reporters after Wednesday’s game, liberally using a word that rhymes with “ships.”
“The whole trip has been a grind,” Webb said (via NBCS). It’s been a mental grind and a physical grind. Three quarters of our clubhouse has the *****. It’ll be good to get back home. Hopefully the ***** go away.”
MLB fans had fun with Webb’s graphic comments.
Revenge of the Montezuma lol

Maybe if they had some more culture on their team it wouldn’t be such the weak stomachs.

🤣🤣Are you saying chicken enchiladas in flour tortillas, topped with cream of chicken soup and cheese isn’t culture?

You’d think they would take sensible precautions with food and drink.
