While fans of the Oakland A’s have let the owners know their displeasure with the team’s poor stadium condition, terrible performance on the field, and the looming threat of relocation to Las Vegas, there were at least a couple of fans at the ballpark to enjoy a game, just not in a fashion that is expected out of most spectators.

Oakland police have launched an investigation into the couple after a video that appears to show the duo allegedly engaging in a sexual act during the A’sMariners game at RingCentral Coliseum on Sunday went viral.

There were only around 9,000 fans on hand to watch the American League West showdown. That didn’t stop one far-away spectator from noticing the couple and managing to capture the two fans seemingly engaging in the sex act, sitting in the upper rows of the nosebleed section.

According to TMZ Sports, the couple could face up to six months in prison or a fine of up to $1,000 if they are convicted.

Through 122 games this season, Oakland has the second worst record in the MLB with nothing left to play for other than pride. At least some fans who attend games are still enjoying themselves — despite the possibility of getting arrested.

As for the Mariners, they’re still on the hunt for one of the three American League wild-card spots. They’re currently 2.5 games ahead of the Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins in that race.
