Witt Jr. and the Royals completed a sweep of the Astros in epic fashion on Thursday. KC trounced Houston for a whopping nine runs in the first inning and went on to win 13-3.
The dynamic Royals shortstop was pivotal in the victory. Witt Jr. went 4-for-5 with two home runs. That included a blast late in the game to salt the game away that brought Royals fans to their feet.

Witt Jr. also got involved in a wild play earlier in the day. He collided with a fellow Royals infielder but still managed to make the throw to first anyway!
