Look, none of us are for certain where two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani will land in 2024 and beyond, but it’s one of 30 teams.

While we can speculate until the cows come home, why not ask a psychic?

That’s exactly what MLB.com’s Matt Monagan did, but she’s not just any psychic. Shara Ogin also predicted Ohtani’s move to the Los Angeles Angels in 2017.

What Monagan did was give Ogin just a few of the top teams to see Ogin’s reaction. She looked at the vibration of each one.

For starters, sorry Giants fans. Despite many reports saying Ohtani to San Francisco was a possibility, she disagreed.

“Yeah, the Giants,” Ogin told MLB.com. “I read an article yesterday that said Ohtani’s gonna go to the Giants and I just got this ‘no’ feeling in my body. Even though I don’t know anything about these teams.”

The Mets, however, made her feel some type of way.

“That one is running up,” she said. “I definitely get a strong possibility for that one. That big-city draw to New York. I had that thought.”

One team that surprised me as I read the article, the Seattle Mariners.

“I’d say that’s also a possibility,” Ogin explained. “I’m not sure why, actually. I just kind of looked at the vibration and got a yes. Maybe it’s something about the offer or him being comfortable there? Ultimately, he’s a Cancer. They like to be comfortable in their home and in their environment and create a safe place wherever they are. So maybe there’s something about that.”

I suppose it makes sense. The Mariners not only have Jerry Dipoto as the president of baseball operations and he’s never shied away from making a move in the offseason. Plus, the crowd shouted for Ohtani during the All-Star Game, rooting for him to play all of his home games at T-Mobile Park for the foreseeable future.

That wasn’t the most shocking reaction from her, however.

Ogin also gave more information about her Ohtani feelings. Family values and the way the 2023 AL MVP is sweet and a “vulnerable human being” has the professional clairvoyant still having some vibrations toward the Angels.

Stay tuned …
