So this is now something of a trend, and it’s a good one.
After Katie Ledecky handed off her collection of medals to Bryce Harper earlier this week, and then threw a strike.
Tonight, it was Boston-area native Aly Raisman’s turn at Fenway, and she didn’t disappoint, transferring her medals to David Ortiz before throwing her own first pitch.
Ortiz had the proper reaction, as well:

Frankly, touring ballparks and throwing out first pitches is how Olympians should spend their time between Olympic years. Maybe we could get Usain Bolt to race Billy Hamilton.
