White Sox fans brawl

Chicago White Sox fans went home happy Saturday after an extra-inning victory over the Baltimore Orioles. The White Sox defeated the pesky Orioles 7-6 in a seesaw game that went ten innings before Oscar Colás walked it off with a hard hit to right field. But some left Guaranteed Rate Field on the South Side battered and bruised after a massive brawl broke out in the stands.

No word yet on any arrests or ejections, but police will have some video to study if anyone tries to press charges. The melee appeared to involve a dozen people or more, with one combatant punching people on both sides of an aisle.

“Multi-fight happening right after ‘Knuck If You Buck’ played at the White Sox VS Orioles game in Chicago,” a Twitter user at the game pointed out.

To make the scene even more surreal, the brawl broke out while Crime Mob’s 2004 hip-hop hit “Knuck if You Buck” played. Sample lyrics include “Punch ’em dead up in his nose,” “And stomp his *** down to the flo,'” and “I think it’s time I knuck you **.”

If you don’t know the song, let’s say it’s not about promoting world peace or something.

Baseball fans on Twitter thought it was the perfect song for the occasion.
