Last month, billionaire social media moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg – the majority owners of Twitter and Facebook, respectively – presumably agreed to fight each other in a cage match for charity after what started out as playful online banter. And it looks like Musk is already beginning his training with a couple of martial arts experts.

On Monday, UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre posted a photograph on social media following what he described as a “great training session” with Elon Musk. He was also joined by prominent jiu-jitsu instructor John Danaher.

“Great training session with 3 men that I really admire. Combined IQ in this photo is 1000. « Not including me »,” St-Pierre said in a tweet.

Musk replied to St-Pierre’s tweet, saying “It was an honor.”

Also featured in the photograph was famed computer scientist-turned-podcaster Lex Fridman, who also shared the photograph on Twitter – eliciting another response from Musk.

“Really fun! The obvious conclusion is that I need a *lot* more training,” Musk said in a tweet.

While Musk is presumably preparing himself for the potential match, Zuckerberg has been training in mixed martial arts with professional MMA fighters for years, even winning multiple jiu-jitsu tournaments over the years.

If the fight really does take place, it will be interesting to see how it goes.
