Former Alabama forward Brandon Miller who is expected to go second in Thursday’s NBA Draft, is already causing a bit of a stir before he hits the court.
When asked who is the greatest of all time (GOAT) he didn’t say what most expected him to say. Most players would say Michael Jordan or LeBron James, but not Miller.
Miller said that Paul George is the greatest of all time.
Michael Jordan’s meeting with Brandon Miller was “exciting” says Miller to @BallySports.
“It was exciting to meet him.”
Miller also weighed in on the Michael Jordan-LeBron James GOAT debate which he doesn’t feel is an old debate.

“I actually don’t think LeBron is the G.O.A.T. of basketball,” he said. “My G.O.A.T. of basketball is Paul George. I grew up watching him.”
Miller also said he models his game after George too.
“I think I compare myself to Paul George a lot due to the fact he takes pride in the defensive side,” Miller told HoopsHype. “I steal some of his moves and put my own twist to it.”
Rarely do players talk about taking pride in not only scoring but playing defense as well. But Miller played on an Alabama team that won the SEC this past year and was one of the top defensive teams in the country.
Bama head coach Nate Oats’ team plays an exciting brand of basketball that has attracted a lot of top prospects to the school including Miller who won SEC Player of the Year.
So while some may disagree with this stance, it may be a good thing that Miller sees himself more than just a scorer.
