It happens all the time, whether you’re a normal person out at work, in the gym, or greeting somebody. You get left hanging on the handshake, or a high five.

The Sacramento Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins is no different, as Rajon Rondo painfully left him hanging in the Kings’ game against the Portland Trailblazers. The two have definitely formed a brotherly relationship, where they will playfully mess with each other, and the Kings big man was the recipient (or lack thereof) this time around.

No matter how intentional Rondo made it look, it doesn’t take away from how excruciating the awkwardness of a missed handshake is.

The Kings would go on to lose that game by a score of 98-94, and things are looking sloppier than a missed handshake in Sac Town right now.
