The Golden State Warriors recently defeated the Phoenix Suns in dramatic fashion thanks to a game-winning three-point shot from Steph Curry. Days later, it seems like there is still some bad blood lingering between Warriors star Draymond Green and Suns star Jusuf Nurkic.
Green and Nurkic have quite the history over the years, most notably with Green punching Nurkic after the two got tangled up in a matchup back in December.

This ultimately led to Green being issued an indefinite suspension by the NBA, a suspension that ended up lasting over a month.
After the recent game between the two last week, Nurkic spoke up about how he feels Green “hasn’t learned anything” from his suspension, and that he is still a dirty player.
“It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything. Just a matter of time. He’s going to hit somebody else again. Take back everything I said. He don’t deserve a chance.”

Green has since responded on his podcast, issuing a number of personal attacks against Nurkic, specifically referencing a celebration Nurkic did during the game.
“Little guy tries to post up, tries to back me down,” said Green of Nurkic. “Shoots a nast hook shot for his sixth point of the game, which was his last points of the game. Tries to do an overtly too-small celebration, slapping the floor, the whole thing. And quite frankly, you’re not good enough to do things like that.
“And then he goes on to question my character. What a coward. You go questioning character about a basketball game you just lost. That you got destroyed in. The only thing you should talk about is how you got punished. What an embarrassment. And they expect to win with that guy? Quite frankly, I’m a four-time All-Star, a four-time NBA champion. I should destroy you on the basketball court. I think all of it was really cowardly.”

It sure looks like these two are not overly fond of each other. And after this back-and-forth, that doesn’t seem like it will change anytime soon…
