It was a busy Easter Sunday in the NBA. Two sideline fights sparked attention, with one including star Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert. Gobert has never shied away from controversy, and another NBA star made sure on Sunday to let him know he was watching. Draymond Green, never a stranger to controversy himself, inserted himself into the scene.

Green appeared to pay a receipt Gobert had left him once before. Gobert commented after Draymond’s infamous punch on teammate Jordan Poole. Gobert tweeted, “Insecurity is always loud…”

So, loudly perhaps, Draymond responded to Gobert’s swing on Anderson.

“Insecurity is always loud…,” Draymond mimicked.

An elephant never forgets, or in this case, Draymond Green never forgets. Gobert has invited criticism to himself often after he’s placed himself in some odd situations.

But considering how Gobert commented, perhaps even out of turn, it’s no surprise that Green clapped back. Consider who it is that we’re dealing with here after all. Draymond has always had a penchant for making noise of practically any kind.

The Timberwolves sent Gobert home after he swung at Anderson. It was a messy day for Minneapolis, as Jaden McDaniels also fractured his hand after he punched a wall. In the end, the T’Wolves actually won their game, which is hilarious, and now will play the Los Angeles Lakers in the play-in.
