Former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom has been out of the NBA since the 2021-22 season and claims that he has been “blackballed” from the league after he spoke out against China’s treatment of Uyghur Muslims. And now he’s making headlines for his pretty harsh words to the transgender community.

This week, Enes Kanter Freedom posted a tweet speaking out against transgender rights, calling transgender women “men” and making it clear that he doesn’t think they should be allowed to use restrooms or play sports in accordance with their gender identity. He also suggested that he could “put on a wig” and start dominating the WNBA.

“Men don’t belong in women’s spaces. Restrooms – Locker Rooms or Sports. Since I’m blackballed from the @NBA, should I put on a wig, identify as a woman and start dominating the @WNBA?”

“Is that when the outrage will begin? Is that fair to all the women who spent their whole life chasing their goals? Where are all the Women Rights Activists and Feminists?!” Kanter continued in his tweet.

Enes Kanter Freedom played 11 seasons in the NBA where he averaged 11.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game throughout his0 748 career appearances in the league.
