A viral video that showed Draymond Green arguing with a fan in Milwaukee on Tuesday night clearly showed the Golden State Warriors’ star’s side of the confrontation.
Now, the fan who was ejected from Fiserv Forum after the incident for allegedly saying “threatening stuff” to Green has shared his side of the story.
Milwaukee Bucks fan Mike Shane told the KJ Live podcast that he was referencing Green’s infamous altercation in practice with Warriors teammate Jordan Poole, a Milwaukee native.
“I said, ‘Draymond, we giving you a pass.’ He said, ‘What pass?’ I said, ‘Man, we giving you a pass.’ He said, ‘You ain’t s–t. What pass?’ I said, ‘Man, we giving you a pass,'” Shane said (via the New York Post).
“Evidently, he was ready for it. He was waiting for that to happen. He blew it out of proportion, actually. I don’t know how he could take that as a threat.”
Shane’s version of events makes sense given Green’s response audible in the video.
"What's that pass? What's the pass? I would love to know what that pass is. You ain’t sh*t… I thought so. Explain yourself if you want to be heard."

“I was speaking up for the city of Milwaukee,” Shane said. “Basically telling him, like, we’re giving you a pass. We haven’t forgotten about what you did — a big bully — and we’re giving you a pass.”
“We forgive you.”
That doesn’t sound like a threatening message, but Green could have misinterpreted it. In general, though, it’s a bad idea for fans to get into confrontations with players.
Shane claims that he had witnesses to the exchange, including a police officer and security worker, who both vouched after the incident that he did not threaten Green.
According to sfgate.com, the Bucks refunded Shane’s ticket, and promised him courtside seats for an upcoming game.
