It wasn’t really a great evening at Madison Square Garden. The New York Knicks lost 127-106 to the Memphis Grizzlies but that was the least of the Knicks concerns Wednesday night.
The night took a turn with less than a minute to go in the game. Elfrid Payton took issue to Jae Crowder shooting a three while up 18 and shoved him into the stands. That sparked a brawl that resulted in the ejections of Payton (along with a flagrant two), Crowder, and Marcus Morris Sr.
Wow. Hard foul by Elfrid Payton and he wants Jae Crowder to find him after the game.. https://t.co/1A4NR177uq

As if that wasn’t bad enough, well bad if you’re James Dolan at least, the remaining Knicks fans at MSG had enough and launched into a “sell the team” chant aimed at the Knicks owner.
Bless these Knicks fans who for some reason stayed until the end. I mean, Dolan left before the end of the game.
This is the low point of the season for the Knicks. Never heard a "sell the team" chant this loud at MSG. Owner James Dolan just left his seat with 48.1 seconds left. The Knicks are 13-35 (NBA's 3rd worst record) and about to have their 18th loss by 10+ points this season. https://t.co/4RQzF3hFDg

That however wasn’t enough for the Knicks as the Grizzlies reported no water pressure after the game was over. I can’t tell if this is further Knicks incompetence or a masterful attempt at trolling the visiting team after getting blown out but Ja Morant pretty much got fed up and said he was going to the hotel to get a shower.
Ja Morant says there’s no hot water and only 3 drops of water coming out of the Knicks visitor showers.
“This is beyond me,” he said.
The Grizzlies are actively trying to get both hot water and water pressure to take showers right now.

"I've taken cold showers before, but at least I had water pressure."

We know the Knicks are dysfunctional but this is on another level. Let’s be honest, if I were to ask you which NBA team could start a fight, have their fans chant at their owner to sell the team, and not have water pressure in the visitor locker room, who would you choose? Just another disappointing chapter in the New York Knicks.
