Jared Dudley will be entering his 10th NBA season next year, although it’s not known whether or not it will be in Washington, or another franchise. Anybody that has any sort of NBA career could be considered successful, but only a handful get to a decade or more.

Despite this type of expertise, a person running a Washington D.C. sports page claimed that he could beat Dudley in a game of 1-on-1:

After another Twitter user further instigating, Dudley agreed to play the person, and raised the stakes:

Dudley is probably being nicer than what he should have been in accepting the challenge. He could have absolutely put more money on the table, and spotted that guy more points and still have no issue.

But it just goes to show that if you talk enough on Twitter, eventually you will get a response that you didn’t expect, and realistically didn’t want to deal with in the first place.

At least this is a more friendly challenge than the one Trevor Ariza proposed to a fan last year.
