TMZ posted a video on Wednesday of the Milwaukee Bucks’ O.J. Mayo, Greg Monroe, Khris Middleton, and Miles Plumlee having themselves a fun time at a Los Angeles strip club.
The strip-club partying took place on Monday, or, technically Monday night-Tuesday morning, as the Bucks’ players were apparently at the strip club until 2 AM.
Well, the Bucks had a game on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center, and lost 113-95. The Lakers entered the game with a 3-21 record, and the Bucks had just handed the Golden State Warriors their first loss of the season in 25 games.
Road games in the NBA are always tough, and the Bucks may have put so much into beating the Warriors that perhaps a letdown performance in the following game was inevitable.
But, after it was learned Bucks players were partying all night at the strip club on the night before a bad loss, naturally the questions came as to whether the late-night partying and the loss to the Lakers were related. Whatever the case, Milwaukee head coach and former NBA star Jason Kidd wasn’t happy with his players’ decision-making:
Kidd on 4 players at strip club night before Lakers: “This is a young team learning to be professional.”

Kidd on players in road cities: “You’re going to go have dinner and you have to be responsible.”

Asked if any internal discipline for 4, Kidd said: “We had that discussion today, so that was enough discipline to have to listen to me.” — cfgardner (@cf_gardner) December 17, 2015
