Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson made his return to the basketball court on Sunday night after last playing in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. Thompson tore his ACL in Game 6 (which was the Toronto Raptors’ title-clinching victory), and then he tore his Achilles in Nov. 2020.

It’s been 941 days since Thompson last took the court for an NBA game, and he made his return in emphatic fashion.

Thompson showed that handles and quickness are still in prime form, and finished with a vicious poster dunk on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He sure looks healthy! Incredible.

He also scored the Warriors’ first basket of the night:

Welcome back, Klay. And it’s crazy to think how good this Warriors team — who’s already been awesome at 29-9 — could be with this Splash Brother joining in.
