A stunning trade went down in the final hours of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline that sent Kristaps Porzingis from the Dallas Mavericks to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans.

Porzingis was in Dallas — the Mavericks host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night — when the trade went down… and was waiting in line at East Hampton to order a sandwich.

According to Twitter user @jacobaderich, Porzingis was in line to order a sandwich, then went outside to take a phone call when the trade happened, and then returned back in line to order a sandwich.

That’s the perfect face for a guy that walked into a fast-casual joint to order a sandwich and learned while doing so that he’s now a member of a different NBA team.
