Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić had a tough time in the FIBA World Cup Wednesday, picking up two technical fouls and earning an ejection in Slovenia’s game.

Incredibly, Dončić became the second NBA player ejected from that game in less than 30 seconds. Houston Rockets star Dillon Brooks, playing for Canada, earned an ejection after knocking down a 3-pointer then taunting a Slovenian player.

Dončić went up for a shot against Canada’s Lu Dort late in the game, but the two made contact. Dončić fell to the ground and immediately began pleading for a foul.

He went too far and picked up his second T. Not finished protesting, Dončić reacted to the ejection by sarcastically applauding the referee.

After his ejection, Brooks did a very Brooks-like thing, donning a pair of boxing gloves and shadow boxing in the locker room tunnel.

Meanwhile, Dončić refused to speak with the media after his ejection.

Canada won the game, 100-89, to advance to the World Cup Semifinals.

Fans reacted to Dončić’s and Brooks’ ejections and later theatrics with some meme magic.
