The Dallas Mavericks took on the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, and Mavericks star Luka Dončić stole the show with one of the best performances of his career.

Dončić is widely regarded as one of the best players in the NBA right now. And he showed exactly why on Friday night, willing his team to a win in about as complete of a performance as you can get.

He finished Friday’s game with 49 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Perhaps more impressive is that he had zero turnovers in the game.

It wasn’t all empty stats either, as he came up with some timely baskets, including this miraculous heave from deep with just 26.3 seconds left in the fourth quarter that helped seal the game for the Mavericks.

This ridiculous shot in clutch time was the ninth made three-point shot of the game from Dončić, which is the most he has ever made in a game in his career.

Fans took notice of his unbelievable game and are singing his praises on social media.

Dončić has scored more points in a game before. In fact, this is just tied for the seventh most points in a game for him in his career.

But to be able to score as many points as he did without any turnovers while also shooting 64% from the field is truly absurd. And there is a real argument to be made that this is his best game ever in the NBA.

If Dončić can continue this kind of impressive play throughout the rest of the season, the Mavericks will almost certainly be real contenders in the Western Conference this year.
