For a while now, the public has wondered how basketball legend Michael Jordan feels about his son Marcus dating Scottie Pippen’s ex, Larsa.
The pair have been dating for some time now. Although they seem to be serious, Jordan has not let his feelings be known about the pairing, considering Pippen and Jordan were longtime teammates with the Chicago Bulls, though their friendship has soured over thee years.
When asked about it recently by a photographer, Jordan laughs and tried to deflect. However, when pressed further about if he approves of the relationship, he gave a resounding “No!” and then shook his head in disapproval.
His answer shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone. First of all, the age difference between the two is huge at 16 years. Marcus Jordan is 32, and Pippen is 48.
Another difference is that he and Scottie Pippen are no longer friends (if they ever were) and Pippen has held a heavy resentment towards Jordan over the years and hasn’t been afraid to express it publicly.
Larsa Pippen has said in past interviews that she thought things went well during the holidays.
“I feel like, we’ve spent holidays together and it’s good. We’re in a great place,” she said. But what she didn’t say is whether or not she spent them with his family. After the elder Jordan’s reaction, it sounds like they haven’t.
Now that the world knows what Michael Jordan feels, one has to wonder if Scottie Pippen shares that sentiment too.
