The No. 8 Atlanta Hawks came out on top in a crazy finish to take down the No. 1 Miami Heat 111-110 in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series. With the win, the Hawks are now down 2-1 in the series, which is certainly a much better place to be than trailing 3-0 (no NBA team has ever come back from that deficit in a seven-game series).

Miami took a one-point lead with 53.9 seconds to go when veteran forward P.J. Tucker nailed a three.

But Trae Young — who led the Hawks in scoring with 24 points — showed why he’s a star and made a floater that would serve as the game-winner for Atlanta with 4.8 seconds remaining.

After a 21-0 Heat run in the third quarter, Atlanta came through in the clutch, outscoring Miami 35-24 in the fourth quarter.

So, the Hawks now have a chance to even up the series in Game 4 in Atlanta. Miami will still be heavily favored to win the series, but the Hawks will make the Heat have to really work for it now.

Here’s a look at how the basketball world is reacting to the Hawks’ win:
