Kentavious Caldwell-Pope helped the Denver Nuggets earn their first-ever NBA championship. In Thursday’s victory parade, the two-time NBA champion went viral for a celebration that wrestling legend Stone Cold Steve Austin would be proud of.
Caldwell-Pope took two beer cans, smashed them together, and downed them as he and the Nuggets celebrated their NBA Finals victory over the Miami Heat. The victory parade in Denver drew significant attention, and so did KCP’s celebration, which went viral.
“Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is wildin’ at the Nuggets championship parade as he did the Stone Cold Beer Smash,” ClutchPoints tweeted.

Good for KCP, who can celebrate his second NBA championship in parade form. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Caldwell-Pope and the Los Angeles Lakers were unable to host a victory parade after winning the 2020 NBA Finals.
