Paul Pierce is at it again.
The former Boston Celtics superstar had social media in an uproar over the weekend after randomly posting an unsolicited relationship status update on Twitter.
“I’m single what’s up,” Pierce wrote in a tweet.
I’m single what’s up

The NBA world had some hilarious responses to Pierce’s tweet, with multiple people in the replies bringing up a previous social media incident, which saw Pierce lose his job as an NBA studio analyst at ESPN. Pierce joined ESPN in September 2017 and had been a key figure on multiple programs for the network.
Unfortunately for Pierce, after four and half years, ESPN parted ways with the Celtics legend after he drew a lot of negative attention back in April of 2021 after posting an Instagram Live video of him drinking, smoking, and playing poker while women danced in the background.
Do another live on IG then

Just a day after the tweet, Pierce was in attendance for the Celtics’ controversial 125-121 overtime win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. He could be seen sporting Boston Celtics pajama bottoms and even made an appearance on NBC Sports Boston.
In the meantime, Pierce may want to take a social media cleanse or quite possibly, have someone else run his Twitter account. It does make for great content, though.
