Dillon Brooks has a new home.
The controversial guard-forward has reportedly reached an agreement with the Houston Rockets, according to ESPN’s Adrian W0jnarowski.
The deal is reportedly four years for $80 million, although it will reportedly be descending in salary.

The 6-foot-7 Brooks, 27, averaged 14.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game last season, and is a very good defender as a swingman. But he’s earned plenty of enemies with his trash talk. That was on full display in the Memphis Grizzlies’ first-round playoff loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, when Brooks aggressively taunted LeBron James.
Brooks infamously called James “old,” after a game in that series, saying, “I poke bears. I don’t respect anyone until they come and give me 40.”
He then compounded the issue by getting ejected from the next game after hitting James in the groin.
Brooks is the second big free-agent acquisition for the Rockets in two days, joining guard Fred VanVleet.
Fans quickly reacted to the news about Brooks.

Hang Mike George’s suit in the rafters. $20M a year is HOF level work from that man.
