NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Davis made a cameo with an unhappy face in Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Nuggets and Heat. NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Davis seems unhappy among Heat fans in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

If you go to an NBA game — especially in the Finals — you never know who you’ll end up sitting next to. Fans saw that in hilarious fashion during Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night, when Terrell Davis, a Hall of Fame running back and former NFL MVP with the Denver Broncos, made something of a cameo appearance.

The Heat dominated the early portion of the fourth quarter, turning an 83-75 deficit into a double-digit lead.

As that run was going on, the ABC cameras found some Miami Heat fans celebrating at Denver’s Ball Arena. One of the fans sitting around them was Davis. Davis’ sweatshirt came close to matching the color of the jacket the woman sitting next to him was wearing.

Despite that, looking at Davis’ face, we can pretty safely assume that he was cheering for the Denver Nuggets.

Davis was recognized and people had a lot of fun with his brief moment on camera.

This is the second time in their last three games that the Heat have created a meme with a famous unhappy fan of the home team. In Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Bill Simmons, a noted fan of the Boston Celtics, got the meme treatment.

The Heat still need to win three more games to win the NBA Championship this year. But we feel safe in awarding this season’s meme-creation trophy to them.
